Hope, without Heat
In the winter of 2024, my apartment’s gas was shut off due to a leak. My landlord, as usual, was in no rush to fix it, and my roommates and I spent a freezing week calling him nonstop before he did. The presidential election had taken place the week prior and had left me feeling completely discouraged about the future of power in our country. Feeling powerless under my landlord’s neglect only deepened my frustration. In crisis, I have always turned to my mom for comfort and support, and this time was no different. She lovingly reminded me that while disappointment is inevitable, I couldn’t let it consume me, and inspired me to channel my anger into the final project of a narrative course I was taking. Every part of this animation -- its sculptures, props, backgrounds, hand-written subtitles and voiceover -- was created and edited by me. The only thing that isn't mine is my mom's voice, which anchors this short film in the lesson that even in the face of neglect and indifference, holding onto hope is an act of resistance.
Rêveflection
"Rêveflection" explores the disorienting beauty of dreams, weaving together reflection and reality. Shot at Bronte Beach in Sydney, this project transforms my friend Lina’s movements on the sand and sea into a visual echo of the dream state, where calm and chaos coexist. By capturing her through a full-length mirror and distorting the sounds and visuals of crashing waves, viewers are immersed in a surreal blend of sensations, both serene and overwhelming. The title merges “dream” in French, "rêve," with “reflection,” representative of the layered, reflective nature of dreams.
Conagra Social Media Gifs
As a Creative Intern at 180NY, one of my primary focuses was finalizing edits for the social media videos of Conagra brands, including Reddi-wip, Gardein, Duncan Hines, Hunts, and more.
Lyric Video - Skulls by Misfits (!!!BRIGHT FLASHING LIGHTS!!!)
One of my first Adobe After Effects projects was a lyric video that visualized sound through shapes, color, and movement -- rather than a literal take on lyrics. While understanding lyrics is one thing, visually interpreting the interplay of lyrics and instrumentals through emotive instinct is another. For instance, at 00:18, the lyrics say, “and the blood rains down like the devil’s rain.” Rather than dropping words like raindrops, I mirrored the fluid vocals and turbulent instrumentals by making the lyrics dart quickly across a vivid, jolting backdrop.
Flour-sack Animation

One of the most basic tasks for an animator is to turn an object as lifeless as a sack of flour into a character. I turned my sack of flower into a ballerina.
Ball-bounce Animation

Another one of the most basic tasks for an animator is correctly illustrating the way a ball bounces, depending on what it is. I chose a yoga ball and a baseball.
Ted Talk Edutainment
For a 3D animation talent showcase, I created a short piece starring a magician whose trick is firing bouncy balls from his hat—much to the audience’s dismay, as they promptly boo him off the stage. Aside from the stage and curtains, I designed every 3D asset and sound effect for this animation.
Magician's Talent Show
For a group Edutainment animation project, we animated audio from Lucy King’s TED Talk, "How bees can keep the peace between elephants and humans." Dr. King’s inventive use of bees to deter elephants from rural farms in Africa is brought to life, adding a visual layer to her explanation. My role included human character design, lip-syncing, and all vector and raster animation at 0:00 - 0:50 and 1:10 - 1:31.
CalFlower GIFs

As a Creative Intern for the ad agency 180NY, I created GIFs for the company CalFlowers. Their slogan was "that flower feeling."
